Specialty Tree Services was established in 2011 by owner and operator Brennen Beal. Proudly family owned and operated, we provide professional tree care solutions throughout HRM, East Hants, and Colchester Counties.

After graduating from the Maritime College of Forest Technology in 2010, Brennen began his career as a climber with a tree company in Halifax. With hands-on experience and a strong foundation in forestry, he launched Specialty Tree Services just one year later. Since then, the company has grown steadily, built on a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and professionalism.

We take great pride in the fact that much of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals — a true reflection of the trust we’ve built within our community.

Providing exceptional work is our priority, but we also place strong emphasis on efficiency and safety. To ensure we deliver both, we continually invest in upgrading our equipment and capabilities.

Our equipment includes:

• A Platform Basket (spider lift) with a 72-foot reach that can access backyards through spaces as narrow as 34 inches
• A 9-inch industrial chipper
• Nova Scotia’s largest residential stump grinder
• A 16-foot dump trailer
